Risk Assessments

The purpose of an ergonomic risk assessment is to identify MSD hazards that are present in a job and to determine the potential for a work-related MSD injury. Risk assessments are usually conducted when there is a history of MSDs or workers report discomfort or have concerns about the physical demands of a job.

Job Match Assessments

An effective job match benefits both the organization and the worker. A job match ensures that the organization is providing safe and suitable work that is within a worker’s physical abilities and/or medical restrictions.
